Joshua Motta evaluates investments and manages deal execution in sectors serving the Base of the Pyramid including healthcare, housing, basic utilities, education and technology. He also focuses on fund structuring, fundraising, and building IGNIA’s strategic partnerships with investors, NGOs and multi-lateral institutions.

Joshua brings over 3 years of directly relevant experience in private equity investing and deal structuring from the likes of Goldman Sachs and Francisco Partners, as well as 3 years of operational experience at Microsoft, Sprint and Honeywell. Driven by his commitment to achieving social impact through cross sector collaboration, innovative business models, technology and capital markets innovation, Joshua joined IGNIA in 2009.
